Reverse Engineering is a key area in design, it can save the client money through not having to reinvest in expensive new machinery as well as enabling the client to have the existing part on file for requirements in the future where originally there were no technical drawings or 3D CAD Model.

At Expanse Design we have 16 years of engineering experience enabling us to provide you with a high-quality reverse engineering service. We can take all your old and existing parts and create a CAD model from this.

This is achieved through using 3D scanning technology to accurately measure and produce a point cloud and then a mesh file of your components. From there it is modelled up as a parametric model and with which we are then able to supply you the CAD model in various file formats.
